New Book Releases for February 2016

February. Despite being the shortest month and having clunky spelling February is set to be a fantastic month for new book releases. Here are some I have already read and reviewed and a few others that have caught my eye. Click on the book covers for full reviews.

This is an edge-of-your-seat, nail-biting, check-over-your-shoulder, add-your-own-cliche-here kind of book. This is ultimately an epic murder mystery, with a huge list of suspects, a twist that came out of nowhere and a surprise ending.

The night Sonia was attacked in the forest, her best friend Gretchen was also attacked. Sonia survived, but Gretchen is found dead at the base of the falls. It sparks an investigation and town-wide terror as the police search for those responsible.  Full review.

Christian Fiction

This is Owen’s story. The last in the Christiansen series, the last of the Christiansen siblings. I loved every minute of it. Romance, action, family drama of the best kind, returning to Deep Haven and the Christiansen clan, humour and a toe-curling whirlwind kind of joy that comes from beautiful writing and a touching and heartfelt story.  Full review.

A fantastic start to a new series, Cold Shot is engaging, edge-of-your-seat action and suspense with charming romance.

When ex-SWAT sniper and current park ranger Griffin McCray discovers a grave being robbed in the Gettysburg cemetery he is stunned to discover that the bones belong to a woman who was recently murdered. Along with Finley Scott, the forensic anthropologist working a dig at the cemetery, Griffin calls in his friends to help him discover who the woman is and to find justice for her murder.  Full review.

If I Run If I Run – Terri Blackstock – Zondervan – Published 16 February 2016

If I Run is the first book in a new crime series that will be a series-long investigation involving an innocent being accused of a crime she didn’t commit. This book sets up what promises to be a series of suspense and crime solving drama, and maybe, just maybe a touch of romance.    Full review.
