♥♥♥♥

I am a massive fan of the Curse So Dark and Lonely and Forging Silver Into Stars series. Together, this makes the fifth book in the Cursebreakers series and it has become an epic series. It’s a go-to favourite of mine to recommend for readers who love an epic fantasy with fairytale threads, great romance and amazing characters that you just love even when they are being annoying!!! (Gray, I’m looking at you)

Forging Silver Into Stars introduced us to new characters Jax and Callyn, as well as giving us the story of Tycho who readers knew and loved from the Curse series.

Carving Shadows Into Gold delivers heapings of romance, drama and tension. Political intrigue abounds as Rhys, Gray, Lia Mara and the two kingdoms who’ve joined (sort of) continue to bristle under ongoing tension from the past.

The story is getting more mature, aging with its readers, so be aware there is more sexual content in these two recent books than in the first three books.

If you haven’t read the other books in the series, you really should before picking up this book, but fans of the series will love the continuing story. This book perfectly sets us up for an epic third book.

The publishers provided an advanced readers copy of this book for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.
