Summer Reading Display

Summer has come to an end down here in the Southern Hemisphere, while those from the Northern Hemisphere are gearing up to welcome the summer rays. This summer reading window display has graced the library’s circulation windows for the past seven weeks, celebrating summer and good books.

The window painting was made using washable window paint, the recipe for which can be found here.

Some summery-themed book titles were displayed along the window’s edges and from the hanging lights. If you look closely (and use your imagination) you may see some familiar characters which have been integrated into the window painting.
